Omantel & Asyad are launching a Hackathon aimed at fostering the development of innovative solutions and startups focused around how can AI, IoT, and other cutting-edge technologies be applied to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across sectors like energy, logistics, waste management, and telecom.

The AI Hackathon will cover the latest AI technologies, ideation, prototyping, business model development, and pitching. Participants will compete for a chance to kick off their startup idea, provided with total awards of OMR 4,000 and opportunity for the top winners to compete against other governates in the final OIA Qimam Hackathon.
